(Simi Valley--CA) At the invitation of businessman Kieu Hoang, owner of the Hummingbird Nest, Mireia Lalaguna, Ms. World 2015 and a native of Spain*, has agreed to attend the Round-Up-A Rockin’ Country Music Extravaganza, scheduled for this Saturday, April 16. Co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley, this 4th annual country music festival, which expects a capacity crowd of over 4,000 guests, is a charity event with all proceeds raised for the benefit of local youth and low income families.
The “Round-Up” presents an impressive list of non-stop country music with performers including the Brodie Stewart Band, Stephen Wesley, Highway Starr, and Country Nation. Guests can enjoy dancing, line dancing lessons, food and crafts, numerous games and activities for the kids and family members amidst the beautiful surrounding of Hummingbird Nest.
In support of the “Round-Up” fundraising goals, Mr. Hoang, a successful Vietnamese-American entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical industry, plans to visit various local non-profit medical clinics serving the poor along with Ms. World 2015 and representatives of the Kiwanis Club, to personally donate a substantial amount of funds to help with the clinics’ charitable operation. “Round-Up” is the first collaboration between Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley and Mr. Kieu Hoang. Upcoming scheduled Events at Hummingbird in 2016 include: Harvest Food and Wine Celebration on October 30th and Christmas Celebration on December 3rd.

*114 contestants from all over the world competed for the title of Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World Pageant, which was held on December 19, 2015, in the resort City of Sanya, China. South Africa’s Rolene Strauss, Miss World 2014, crowned Ms. Lalaguna as her successor at the end of the pageant, signifying the first time that Spain won the Miss World title.
